Report: Arne Slot approves Liverpool move for 27-year-old Paris Saint-Germain player set for potential exit

Reports emerging from Italy suggest that Arne Slot has approved a potential Liverpool move for a player that Paris Saint-Germain appear ready to let go.

With Mohamed Salah set to depart at the end of the season and Hugo Ekitike facing a long-term injury that could rule him out for the rest of 2026, strengthening the attack is expected to be a top priority for Liverpool this summer.

Yan Diomande has been frequently mentioned as a strong option to fill the void left by Salah, while the club may also target a new striker to cover for Ekitike’s absence.

Liverpool stepping up interest in Kolo Muani

According to TuttoJuve, Liverpool have already begun exploring a possible move for Randal Kolo Muani, who is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur from PSG.

The 27-year-old forward could be available, as PSG boss Luis Enrique reportedly does not see him as part of his long-term plans. Slot is said to have endorsed the striker’s profile during discussions with Liverpool’s hierarchy.

PSG are understood to be keen to sell Kolo Muani, who earns around £150,000 per week, and may be open to offers in the region of €40 million (£34.8 million).
