Reports from Italy suggest that Arne Slot has approved a move for a player that Paris Saint-Germain appear ready to sell.
Liverpool are expected to prioritize signing at least one elite forward in the upcoming summer window, especially with Mohamed Salah set to depart at the end of the season and Hugo Ekitike facing a long-term injury that could rule him out for the rest of 2026.
RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande is still being strongly linked as a potential replacement for Salah, while the Reds may also target a new striker to cover for Ekitike’s absence.
Liverpool stepping up interest in Kolo Muani
According to TuttoJuve, Liverpool are already advancing plans to sign Randal Kolo Muani, who is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur from PSG.
The 27-year-old striker could be available, with Luis Enrique reportedly not viewing him as part of his long-term plans in Paris. Slot is said to have endorsed the player’s profile during discussions with Liverpool’s hierarchy.
PSG are reportedly keen to offload Kolo Muani, who earns around £150,000 per week, and would consider offers in the region of €40 million (£34.8 million).
