Arne Slot has acknowledged that Liverpool FC may soon face a key decision regarding the future of Alisson Becker, who has been linked with a potential summer move to Juventus FC.
Slot explained that the club operates with a clear structure when it comes to decision-making, always acting in what it believes to be its best interests. He suggested that every move is carefully considered and made with purpose, even if the reasoning isn’t immediately obvious from the outside.
According to him, those responsible for transfers weigh multiple factors before reaching a conclusion, aiming to make choices that benefit the club as a whole. While Alisson’s experience is certainly a strong reason to keep him, Slot made it clear that other considerations also come into play, and ultimately, the final call rests with the club. He also noted that the goalkeeper still has a year remaining on his contract.
With Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson already set to depart, losing Alisson would further reduce the leadership core at Anfield, marking a continued transition away from the era shaped by Jurgen Klopp.
