Tottenham are searching for a new head coach, with Roberto De Zerbi emerging as one of the leading candidates. According to i News, the former Marseille manager would be willing to step in immediately following Thomas Frank’s dismissal.
Frank was relieved of his duties on Wednesday morning after Spurs’ home defeat to Newcastle United in the Premier League. The decision had been looming for some time, with the club sitting 16th in the table and only five points clear of the relegation zone.
Sources indicate that Tottenham had been considering a managerial change since the beginning of the year but opted to give Frank additional time to improve results. With no turnaround forthcoming, the club has now begun the search for a replacement, and De Zerbi is among the names under consideration.
Reports from i News state that De Zerbi is keen on the Tottenham role, viewing it as a natural progression in his career. Having left Marseille earlier this month, he is prepared to return to management immediately and could take charge without delay if approached.

Mauricio Pochettino is another option on Spurs’ shortlist, but a reunion would not be feasible until the summer. Currently managing the United States national team, Pochettino is committed through the upcoming World Cup and would not be available before the tournament concludes.
