Paris Saint-Germain’s entire delegation—including president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, sporting director Luis Campos, and players João Neves, Nuno Mendes, Gonçalo Ramos, and Vitinha—made a solemn visit to the memorial of Diogo Jota outside Anfield, laying flowers in tribute to him and his brother, André Silva.
The squad and staff also honoured the victims of the Hillsborough disaster ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash against Liverpool F.C..
In a message shared on X, PSG confirmed that Al-Khelaïfi and the club’s leadership paid their respects to the Hillsborough victims before observing a moment of reflection at the Jota and André Silva memorial at Anfield prior to the match.
The club also announced that a minute’s silence will be held before kickoff, with players from both teams set to wear black armbands as a mark of remembrance.
