Agreement reached: Spurs set to land £160k-a-week top-flight star for De Zerbi

Tottenham have reportedly reached a full agreement with Andy Robertson, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano, with the left-back expected to complete a move this summer—provided Spurs retain their Premier League status.

Romano also delivered an update on defensive target Marcos Senesi, confirming that while an agreement in principle exists, a few final details still need to be settled before the deal is completed.

Tottenham remain in serious danger of relegation, with only five matches left to secure survival. However, their recent draw against Brighton & Hove Albion offered some encouragement, with Xavi Simons delivering a standout performance.

According to Romano, Robertson’s move is significantly more advanced, with all terms already agreed between the player and the club. However, neither he nor Senesi will officially sign until Tottenham’s top-flight status is confirmed.

Should the deal go through, Robertson would become one of the club’s highest earners, sitting among key figures such as Conor Gallagher, Cristian Romero, and James Maddison.

Meanwhile, head coach Roberto De Zerbi remains confident his side can avoid relegation. Despite the difficult position, he believes Tottenham have the quality to win their remaining fixtures against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aston Villa, Leeds United, Chelsea, and Everton, and secure their place in the league.
