De Zerbi targets €50m deal as Tottenham edge closer to meeting valuation

De Zerbi targets €50m Kean deal as Tottenham eye attacking boost

Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on Fiorentina striker Moise Kean as they look to strengthen their attack ahead of next season.

Kean joined the Serie A side from Juventus in July 2024 for €13m and has since become a key figure. Across 77 appearances, he has registered 34 goals and seven assists, with nine goals and four assists coming in 33 matches this season.

His performances have attracted interest from the Premier League. Fulham were previously linked with the 26-year-old, and Tottenham have now entered the race.

Strong interest from De Zerbi

New Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi, appointed last week, is keen to bring the Italian forward back to England. His immediate priority is to steer the club away from relegation, with Tottenham currently sitting 17th in the table.

At the same time, the Italian coach has identified Kean as a key summer target.

Transfer situation

Kean is expected to leave Fiorentina at the end of the season. AC Milan are also interested but are unwilling to meet the club’s €50m asking price.

Tottenham, however, are prepared to come close to Fiorentina’s valuation, giving them a strong position in the race for his signature.

Contract and valuation

The striker signed a contract extension until 2029 last August, which includes a release clause of around €62m.

He is currently valued at €40m, though Fiorentina are holding out for a fee closer to €50m.

Kean is represented by World Soccer Agency, owned by Alessandro Lucci and Alessandro Lelli, who also manage several players, including Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski.
