Thomas Frank has confirmed three changes to Tottenham Hotspur’s squad for the UEFA Champions League knockout stages.
Spurs secured their place in the last 16 at the end of last month with a 2–0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt at Deutsche Bank Park. Ahead of the next phase, Mathys Tel and Radu Dragusin have been added to the Champions League squad, alongside Conor Gallagher, who joined the club from Atletico Madrid during the January transfer window.
Ben Davies and Rodrigo Bentancur have both been removed from the list due to ongoing injury issues and will no longer be eligible. Brennan Johnson has also been replaced following his move to Crystal Palace, while Dejan Kulusevski has been left out as he continues his recovery from the knee injury sustained in May 2025.
Earlier in the season, Frank had been forced to omit Tel from the group-stage squad after being restricted to naming just 22 players instead of the permitted 25, with Brandon Austin the only club-trained player available. At the time, the Tottenham head coach voiced his frustration with UEFA’s squad regulations, describing the decision as difficult and the rules as unfair given the increasing physical demands on players across domestic and European competitions.
With those changes now confirmed, Tottenham’s squad for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League knockout phase is as follows:

Defenders:
Radu Dragusin, Kevin Danso, Destiny Udogie, Pedro Porro, Djed Spence, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven
Forwards:
Richarlison, Mathys Tel, Dominic Solanke, Mohammed Kudus, Wilson Odobert, Randal Kolo Muani
The List A squad can also be supported by eligible young players included on List B for the knockout rounds.
