Next comes De Zerbi’s first home game, with supporters urged to wear white as Spurs face his former club Brighton & Hove Albion. A win could lift them out of the relegation zone, as West Ham are not in action until Monday night. But to achieve that, Tottenham must secure their first Premier League victory in 111 days.
De Zerbi’s initial team selection against Sunderland raised eyebrows, making his next lineup decision crucial. In goal, Antonin Kinsky is set to start, as Guglielmo Vicario is still recovering from hernia surgery. In defence, Kevin Danso is expected to partner Micky van de Ven, with Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie likely to continue as full-backs.
In midfield, Archie Gray is expected to feature after being one of Spurs’ standout performers this season, alongside Yves Bissouma.
Further forward, Xavi Simons and Mathys Tel are likely to be included, while Djed Spence could be deployed in a more advanced role on the right.
Leading the attack, Dominic Solanke is expected to start, with Richarlison providing an option from the bench.
